Samsung Galaxy S series
The Samsung Galaxy S series is a line of high-end Android mobile devices produced by Samsung Electronics. The series consisted initially of smartphones and the first device, the Samsung Galaxy S, was announced in March 2010 and released for sale in June of that year. Samsung later expanded the Galaxy S line to tablet computers with the announcement of the Galaxy Tab S in June 2014 and released the next month. As of January 2021, the latest smartphones in the Galaxy S series are the Samsung Galaxy S21 series, which were first released in January 2021. The Samsung Galaxy Tab series is the related tablet line, which includes the tablet Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 released in August 2020.
